“Gendered terms” would be removed from federal law
Fresh off the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, Democrats in California have introduced a bill that would ban the words “husband” and “wife” from being used in federal law because they are “gendered terms” and discriminate against gay people.
The words husband and wife were deleted from California state law last year in order to accommodate same sex marriage.
Under new legislation proposed by over two dozen Democrats, that same rule would be applied federally. The bill, introduced by Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif, would introduce new “gender-neutral” terms such as “spouse” or “married couple.”
“The Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act recognizes that the words in our laws have meaning and can continue to reflect prejudice and discrimination even when rendered null by our highest courts,” Capps said. “Our values as a country are reflected in our laws. I authored this bill because it is imperative that our federal code reflect the equality of all marriages.”
Capps said that amending the language used was necessary to reflect “the equality of all marriages” following last month’s Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage that mandated all states to license same sex marriages.
“Now that compulsory gay marriage is the law of the land thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, liberals are reaching out from that decision to see where else they can force the gay lobby’s agenda on the country,” writes Warner Todd Huston.
Meanwhile, a Toledo Municipal Court judge who refused to marry a same sex couple because of his religious beliefs is seeking an advisory opinion from the Ohio Supreme Court on whether he can opt out of performing gay marriages.
“On Monday, July 6, I declined to marry a non-traditional couple during my duties assignment. The declination was based upon my personal and Christian beliefs established over many years. I apologize to the couple for the delay they experienced and wish them the best,” Judge C. Allen McConnell, a Democrat, said in a statement.
Gay group Equality Toledo said the couple were “humiliated” by the incident, despite the fact that they were married by another judge shortly afterwards.

I can’t help but remember that in 2007, Senator Barack Obama complained that the country (and Congress) were too polarized and partisan, and he vowed that if elected he would do something about that.
In the 7 years since, the only change on that front is that we are more polarized and partisan than ever. EVERYTHING he has done since first sworn into office has made the divisions in this country worse.

A small number of CA dems is to dictate acceptable vocabulary for the federal government? For anybody? If this and other attempts at meeting their ever-changing and worsening objectives succeed, very few will care if La Rasa and ISIS unify and (gulp) take the state over.
Please, CDC, find/create something to make a mandatory vaccine for these people!

America is being turned into Pinocchio’s Pleasure Island – where SIN abounds. Just like Israel, the farther they went away from God into Idolatry and Baal worshipping, the deeper in inequity they fell – still holds true today too for them and America. [Side note: We’re ‘taught’ to hold up the Jews as God’s chosen people, but Scripture states that they rejected God, His Son and the Holy Spirit, so what’s to uphold. Event their ‘Star of David’ isn’t God approved: ‘But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.’ Amos 5:26]
This opens the door of Pandora’s Box to where the pedophiles and others of such kinds are getting in line to have their day of ‘approval’. This ‘new order’ requires breaking down the moral fabric of society into a Jezebel mentality – anything goes, as long as they (globalists) get what they want – total control and dictatorship.

Couple of thoughts here. I’ve noticed the ones really pushing the gay agenda, are closet gays. It’s been rumored for years, that Gov Moon Beam is gay & so is his wife, they married to give the other “respectability.” If it’s so wonderful being gay… why hide it?
Gays are only 2% of the population and the commie-liberals are walking all over themselves to appease this rather small group.
To paraphrase the intelligent, beautiful michelle “toned arms” obama: All this for fags?

Actually, you raise a good question. Why, since it is now deemed inappropriate to diss a gay individual, aren’t all the closet gays stepping forward to defend their gay friends? Is it kind of like the ‘moderate’ Muslims not stepping up to the plate to defend against the ISIS ‘bullies’? I know, a weird analogy. Anyway, makes you wonder about that 2% of the population thing….
