Stewart Perry, a former Marine, along with his wife and daughter, were on an American Airlines flight last Monday to pick up the remains of their son, a soldier who was recently killed in Afghanistan. Their solemn flight took an even more grievous turn, however, when passengers allegedly booed the family while on the flight.

According to Associated Press, the family “were on an American Airlines flight Monday from Sacramento to Philadelphia with a transfer in Phoenix to receive the remains of his son, Sgt. John Perry, of Stockton, when the flight was delayed…The flight to Phoenix was 45 minutes late and the crew, fearing the Gold Star family could miss their connecting flight, made an announcement for passengers to remain seated to let a “special military family” deplane first.”

First class passengers reportedly complained and booed saying that letting the Gold Star family deplane first was ‘baloney’ considering what they had paid for their first-class seats.

Perry stated that he was unaware if those sitting in coach had complained or booed or if any of them knew there was a Gold Star family on the plane.

The 30-year-old Army soldier died on November 12 at Bagram Airfield from injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device, an attack by a suicide bomber. Perry was one of two killed that day. He was honored in Lodi and will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

Perry said of his son, “He made a decision that saved a lot of people. I was told that he was found protecting a female soldier… He didn’t get to live a full life, but he lived.”

“It was just disgusting behavior from people in first class; it was terrible to see.”

Perry leaves behind a wife and two young children.

He died a hero, his father said.

  1. Sorry. I have no compassion for those that booed. As we near Thanksgiving, and I give thanks for all I have and all I enjoy, I’m saddened to think that some people in this country couldn’t find a little generosity in their hearts to keep their fat butts in their seats for an extra 3 minutes while this family makes it’s connection. How rude, how crude, how Un-American!

  2. If they don’t respect or value that soldier, they probably value no one else but their themselves. I am not saying they would put their mother’s name on craigslist. But I am not saying they wouldn’t.

  3. Shameful to those people who booed from first class. Its the least we can do for them to have them exit first. Those guys were probably looney liberals too seeing the flight originated from the left coast state of California (which is my state).

  4. Only takes a few rotten eggs and apples to spoil the whole batch, huh Lorra. Problem here is when those in power positions are the ones overseeing the barrel of the sea of humanity are wicked, dark and evil they cut out the light and truth and pollute it with their own ‘mixture’. Notice in this society how wick, dark and evil have been induced into the younger generation as hip and cool, rave! The very things that kill them are put in their faces to lure them in and enslave them. Just like cigs in the 50s when fraud Dr.s were used to promote smoking and actors/actresses.
‘These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.’ Jesus, John 16:33
‘Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.’ Romans 12:21
The reason words are being changed:
‘That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;’ 1 John 1:1
Can we handle the Truth? can we receive it or Him as our own?
Words affect people’s thinking. If the Word of Life isn’t ruling we get the other.
That’s what this family witnessed while deplaning and hearing the voice of the so-called ‘1st class’. That’s the mindset behind those in the WH and Czar thinking – polluted souls of reprobates minds.

  5. I read this earlier this morning, it appears that there was just one jerk off carrying on. If I had been there ,there would have been a stern warning followed by a serious ass whipping if he didn’t STFU.

    • Yep, but it’s more: What it’s ‘not’ becoming! The word ‘becoming’ use to mean ‘look good and suitable’ but now – like the depraved minds have changed the meaning of words to be something they aren’t – this word too has been tainted, by being dragged down into the cesspool. The youth and the brainwashed adults (not stating maturity) are swimming in the new reality cesspool seeing it in their mind’s eye as a clean swimming pool, hip-no-tized to see it that way. It’s all in the programming and education – products of slave masters – inclusion of harmful, immoral, unethical and ungodly premises, based on the lie program.
