BREAKING – Watch as Obama Declares We Can Defeat ISIS With “Better Ideas.” WOW…Really Obama?

dJuly 6, 2015

I think my friend over at Cry and Howl got this one right. If you haven’t checked out his site yet, you should!

Cry and Howl: WOW! Obama actually thinks he can out-smart ISIS. This is one sick s.o.b. ISIS is beheading by the hundreds, burning, raping, forcing children to execute hundreds of people, pillaging, moving across the Middle East and Obama thinks that “better ideas” will win the day? As long as Barack is president we won’t be at war with Islam … but Islam will always be at war with us and getting them jobs and “better ideas” ain’t gonna change their minds. Death, destruction, fear, rape, maiming, intimidation and every ungodly thing you can think of is Islam.

Yet, here’s Barack Obama, the “commander-in-chief” telling us how to defeat ISIS …

Via: Real Clear Politics

“We’ll constantly reaffirm through words and deeds that we will never be at war with Islam,” President Obama said Monday afternoon. “We are fighting terrorists who distort islam and its victims are mostly Muslims.”

“This challenge of countering violent extremism is not simply a military effort,” the president said. “Ideologies are not defeated with guns but better ideas and more attracting and more compelling vision.”

Well damn Barack, maybe you could have a sit-down with some of the ISIS folks and discuss this stuff. I’m sure they’ll see you’re so smart that they’ll give up all the crap they’ve been doing and apply for jobs. I’ll bet you can find places for them at the DHS, IRS, FDA, CIA, FBI … I’m sure they’ll be vital to the security of America.

For sure we confirm that we are not at war with Islam with deeds.

ISIS is Obama’s army and there isn’t anyway he will facilitate their demise.

U.S. Military Inadvertently Ship Live Anthrax Across The Globe

Anthrax

Anthrax

May 28, 2015

By Lorra B. for Silent Soldier

In a potentially devastating blunder, Wednesday the Pentagon announced that ‘live Anthrax’ was shipped from a Utah lab to approximately nine different states over the last year.

It was a lab based in Maryland that sounded the alert that live samples had been received. The U.S. Military unintentionally FedExed the live Anthrax samples to four U.S. lab workers and as many as 22 overseas labs. All have been placed in post exposure treatment and been prescribed prophylaxis as a precaution.

A South Korean base was also indicated to have inadvertently received a live sample, one that was to have been used in an “Anthrax detection exercise,” according to Fox News.

Col. Steve Warren, a Pentagon spokesperson, was confident that “there is no known risk to the general public, and there are no suspected or confirmed cases of anthrax infection in potentially exposed lab workers.”

Because the Anthrax samples were thought to be dead they did not have to be shipped under tight protocols. A defense official stated, “These were supposed to be dead spores Anthrax, called AG-1.”

But there are conflicting stories as to when and where the samples where shipped though a FedEx spokesperson, Jim McCluskey, would not confirm the report saying “FedEx is committed to the safe transport of all customer shipments, and our priority is the safety of our employees. We will be working closely with the Department of Defense and the Centers for Disease Control to gather information about these shipments.”

When the defense official was asked how many of the states receiving the Anthrax actually received Live Anthrax, the official stated, “out of an abundance of caution, it is safe to assume it’s all live.”

“Five active duty Air Force members, 10 active duty Army members, three civilian officials and four contractors are now getting preventative treatment in South Korea,” according to CNN.

There is an ongoing investigation and all samples are being collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Watch The Final Desperate Moments Of Decorated Army Sgt. James Brown’s Life – Warning GRAPHIC

(Screenshot Credit, YouTube)

May 19, 2015

by Lorra B. for Silent Soldier

The final moments of U.S. Army Sgt. James Brown’s life are captured on a newly released video. Brown was serving a two-day, DWI sentence. What this video shows is an active-duty, decorated veteran not only bleeding but desperately trying to breathe.

Suffering from PTSD, Brown is subdued by riot-gear-clad police officers as he is struggling in his cell. 35 minutes pass and before Brown loses consciousness he can be heard several times desperately telling the officers that he can’t breath.

According to Fox news, Brown, “who was stationed at Fort Bliss, in El Paso, Texas, voluntarily checked in to the El Paso County Detention Center on a Friday in July 2012 to serve a two-day sentence, and was dead by Sunday. Three years later, KFOX-14  has obtained graphic video that shows Brown’s final moments, before he died of what a coroner said was a sickle cell ‘crisis.’”

So what really happened? The details of Brown’s death are puzzling. In the new video Brown can be seen thrashing around and clearly causing himself to bleed. But, what causes Brown to go berserk in the first place?

After being subdued by the officers, and repeatedly telling the officers he could not breathe, he is hoisted over the officer’s shoulders and take Brown into another room where he is injected with lorazepam, a mild sedative according to KFOX.

Things go from bad to seriously worse as Brown tells the officers “I’ve got problems,” and implores the officers to get him water, which, eventually, they do. But after Brown is taken back to his cell, his breathing becomes more labored and he becomes unresponsive.

Brown was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

“The family’s lawyer said at no time was an ambulance or 911 called for help,” reports Fox News.

No illegal drugs were discovered in Browns body and he had no criminal; record.

A statement by the El Paso County Sheriffs Office states, “Mr. Brown’s death was an unfortunate tragedy. The sheriffs office has conducted a thorough review of the facts surrounding Mr. Brown’s death and, based upon all the evidence obtained, determined that his death was caused by a pre-existing medical condition. The specific evidence cannot be discussed because of pending litigation.”

Dinette Robinson-Scott, Brown’s Mother, stated she didn’t understand why her son wasn’t in a military jail as he should have been.

Brown’s mother went on to tell KFOX that “I pray that new laws protecting soldiers in custody will be implemented, that the military adopt new policy procedures in regards to their soldiers being held in custody by an outside agency. If these changes can be made and our soldiers are protected, and another family never has to experience what my family has, then my son’s death would not have been in vein.”

Breaking: U.S. Intel Knowledge Of Benghazi Weapons Run Could Mean Treason For Hillary

dMay 18, 2015

By Lorra B. The Silent Soldier

In what could potentially mean the end of days for Hillary Clinton’s hope of a 2016 presidential run, Fox News has uncovered information that could amount to treason. Are we surprised by this new information?

It was confirmed by Fox News today that the US did indeed run guns from Benghazi to Syria. These gun runs took place before the attack on the US consulate in which the US Ambassador to Libya, along with three others, was killed on the September 11, 2012 attack, contrary to claims by President Obama that the attack was due to an anti-Muslim video.  Soon after these statements, the Obama administration detoured and insisted that the attack was simply ‘spontaneous’ and a result, perhaps, of rioting in that region.

And the lies are marching in, one by one, Hurrah! Hurrah!!

But, according to Fox News, “US Intelligence agencies were fully aware that weapons were moving from the terrorist stronghold in Libya to Syria before the attack that killed four Americans…”

Fox News also reports that the attack was fully intended for the anniversary of 9/11 and was in no way a coincidence. “The memo also tied the attack to 9/11…No discussion of a demonstration or anti-Mohammad video.”

Hmmmm. Something certainly isn’t adding up here.

If what Fox new is reporting is true then Hillary has surely perjured herself and in a big way. During a press conference in 2013 she stated, in no uncertain terms, that she had absolutely no idea of Benghazi guns runs.

Watch her defend herself asking “What Difference Does it make”:

Well, Hillary, IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!

Obama Administration Increases Terrorism Warnings on American Soil

U.S. Terror Alert Heightened

U.S. Terror Alert Heightened

May 18, 2015

By Lorra B. for Silent Soldier

Due to the mounting threat of terrorist activity from the Islamic State, The Obama Administration has increased warnings of probable attacks within the United States.

Over 30 Americans have already been arrested and charged by the FBI this year for terrorist activities including unsuccessful ‘lone wolf’ plots and various other related charges. According to the FBI, almost all of these terrorist activities were Islamic State motivated.

Local police forces have been put on alert. Potential targets such as energy plants, shopping malls and airports have stepped up their surveillance and  US military bases have heightened their defenses, according to U.S. authorities.

“Military bases across the nation increased security Friday on the orders of U.S. Northern Command in a bid to throw a curve-ball to terrorists,” reported Stars and Stripes.

Though this move isn’t tied to any particular threat, it is a strategic one. Command spokeswoman Maj. Jennifer Stadnyk commented,” That way, no one can anticipate our security posture at any given time.”

In order to incite violence across the globe, on Thursday, the Islamic State leader Abu Bakr Baghdadi, in an audio recording, urged “Muslims everywhere to migrate to the Islamic State or fight in his land, wherever that may be.”

Of 22,000 fighters drawn to fight for the Sunni Muslim group, about 3,700 from Western nations and 180 Americans have joined (or tried to join) the fight for Syria and Iraq.

Gunman at Texas Cartoon Contest open fire

Gunman at Texas Cartoon Contest open fire

In Texas, for example, “two would-be terrorists apparently prompted by Islamic State social media messages tried to shoot their way into a provocative contest for caricatures of the prophet Muhammad”, states Stars and Stripes. “Both gunmen were shot to death, and no one else was killed. Islamic State later claimed responsibility for the assault, the first time it has done so for an attack on U.S. soil.”

The military is taking these threats seriously and is stepping up security in all branches of our military. The Air Force academy, for example, has been closed to all visitors and will only be permitted on a ‘case-by-case’ basis.

The director of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, told MSMBC on Friday that the U.S. has begun a “new phase, in my view, in the global terrorist threat. We have to be concerned about the independent actor, and the independent actor who is here in the homeland who may strike with little or no warning. The nature of the global terrorist threat has evolved.”

With increased terrorist threats on American soil, the Obama Administration has also been evolving. Tighter security both civilly and militarily should not only be expected but it just may be the new norm.

Army’s Elite Delta Force Kills Top ISIS Official, Abu Sayyaf, In Daring Syria Raid

May 16, 2015

Fox News:

U.S. personnel overnight killed a key Islamic State leader in charge of the group’s oil and gas operations in a raid in eastern Syria, the White House said Saturday.

A team of Delta Force commandos slipped across the border from Iraq under cover of darkness Saturday aboard Black Hawk helicopters and V-22 Osprey aircraft, according to a U.S. defense official knowledgeable about details of the raid.

The U.S. team killed leader Abu Sayyaf and 11 other ISIS fighters and captured his wife, Umm Sayyaf. Multiple defense officials told Fox News that while no Americans were injured or killed in the operation, some of the fighting was hand-to-hand and that Sayyaf used women and children as human shields.

“It was a real firefight – a no kidding old school firefight,” a senior defense official said.

Ancient Assyrian texts and other priceless artifacts were recovered as well as what the defense official called a “treasure trove” of intelligence materials, such as cell phones, laptops and documents.

Sayyaf was a senior ISIS leader whose roles included overseeing illicit oil and gas operations — key sources of revenue for the terror group, according to the White House. He also was allegedly involved with the group’s military operations.

U.S. officials said it was likely, given Abu Sayyaf’s position, that he knew about more than just the financial side of the group’s operations and was also was targeted for his known association with the group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

A U.S. official told The Associated Press his removal probably has temporarily halted ISIS oil-revenue operations, critical to the group’s ability to carry out military operations in Syria and Iraq and to govern the population centers it controls.

Sayyaf’s wife also was an ISIS member and is believed to have played an important role in terror activities. Umm Sayyaf was taken to a secure location in Iraq where she is being interrogated, a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News.

The commando operation also led to the freeing of a young Yezidi woman who appears to have been held as a slave by the couple.

The White House said President Obama authorized the operation as soon as he and his national security team developed sufficient intelligence and were confident the mission could be carried out successfully.

Defense Secretary Ash Carter said he ordered U.S. Special Operations Forces into Syria’s al-Amr region to capture Sayyaf and his wife.

ISIS has over roughly the past year made a swift and unexpected rise in Syria and Iraq, taking territories and using captured assets to finance its deadly operations, which have including the online publishing of beheadings.

Syrian state media earlier reported that government forces killed at least 40 ISIS fighters, including a senior commander in charge of oil fields, in an attack Saturday on the country’s largest oil field — held by ISIS.

It identified the commander as Abu al-Teem al-Saudi.

CNN: By Sugam Pokharel

Kathmandu, Nepal (CNN)The wreckage of a U.S. Marine helicopter that went missing with six U.S. Marines and two Nepali service members on board has been found, U.S. Defense officials confirmed Friday.

“It is unlikely there are any survivors at this time,” said U.S. Marine Lt. Gen. John Wissler, commanding general on the ground in Nepal, and said he was unable to confirm the report from the Nepalese government, that three bodies had been discovered.

Three bodies were discovered in the burned wreckage of the helicopter, which was delivering aid to earthquake survivors, Nepalese Defense Secretary Ishwori Paudyal said.

Wissler said that due to the harsh conditions of the region, he was calling off the search for the evening. Wissler said the deaths would not affect the U.S. Marine mission to the Nepalese region to assist with aid following a series of deadly earthquakes.

The American chopper was spotted in the Gorthali area, at an altitude of 11,200 feet (3,400 meters), said Nepalese Brig. Gen. Binoj Basnet. Its discovery follows intensive searches from the air and on foot, amid treacherous terrain.

The U.S. Joint Task Force confirmed the wreckage, 8 miles north of Charikot, was that of the missing UH-1Y Huey helicopter. It has not yet commented on the reported discovery of bodies.

Four pararescuemen and one combat rescue officer were on the ground, the Joint Task Force statement said. “The assessment of the site is ongoing and a thorough investigation will be conducted,” it said.

Breaking News: House Passes Pentagon Spending Bill

(Screenshot Credit, RT)

(Screenshot Credit, RT)

May 15, 2015

Reuters: Jim Bourg  H/T AceBreakingNews

The US House has approved a $612-billion measure to fund the military. The Obama administration and many Democrats opposed the defense policy bill for its alleged budgeting “gimmicks,” as well as its provisions for arming Ukrainian forces.

The House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2016 by a vote of 269 to 151. The bill authorizes $515 billion for so-called national defense spending, $89.2 billion for an emergency war fund, and an additional $7.7 billion in mandatory defense spending that does not receive authorization from Congress.

Yet the $612-billion bill was opposed by many Democratic lawmakers who have criticized the Republican majority for ignoring defense budget caps approved by Congress in 2011 to address federal deficits. Democrats say by boosting the emergency war fund (which is not in the purview of the Budget Control Act of 2011), Republicans sought to evade the law to increase military spending but will not do the same for similar caps on domestic spending.

Prior to Friday’s vote, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi pledged to oppose the NDAA for the additional war funding that comes without offsets.

“The Republican defense authorization bill before the House is both bad budgeting and harmful to military planning — perpetuating uncertainty and instability in the defense budget, and damaging the military’s ability to plan and prepare for the future,” Pelosi wrote to her House colleagues.

“As Defense Secretary (Ash) Carter said last week, Republicans’ approach is ‘clearly a road to nowhere,’ ‘managerially unsound’ and ‘unfairly dispiriting to our force.’”

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry called on Congress to pass the bill despite ongoing disputes over the 2011 law.

“The idea that we would hold the military and pay and their weapons and the policies involved hostage in the hopes we can put enough pressure to have the president and Congress somehow come together to fix these other problems, I just think that’s unrealistic,” Thornberry said, according to the Hill.

Republican House Speaker John Boehner said top Democrats were “downright shameful” for helping to pass the NDAA out of committee only to oppose it during the broader vote.

The White House has threatened to veto the NDAA for the war funding provisions, as well as restrictions the bill would place on transferring detainees held at Guantanamo Bay. The White House also opposed measures in the bill that would seek to arm Ukrainian forces fighting Russian-allied separatists, and that would attempt to fund Iraqi Kurdish fighters without approval from the Iraqi government.

BREAKING REPORT: Military Doctor Was Ignored In The Case Of A War Veteran Which Lead To Two Deaths

dMay 14, 2015

Ace News Services:

Army psychiatrist Patrick Lillard still anguishes over that night four years ago, when a drunken soldier shot to death a sheriff’s deputy along a shoulder of an expressway outside this base and then turned the assault rifle on himself.

Now Lillard has made an extraordinary decision to speak out about the case: If only the Army had listened to him, Spc. Christopher Hodges would have been in a hospital for alcohol addiction and two lives could have been saved.

Twice before the shootings, Lillard urged that Hodges, 26, an Iraq War veteran, receive at least a month of intensive treatment. Twice his recommendations were ignored by an Army substance abuse program that allows officers without a medical background to overrule a doctor.

“Two people died, and it could have been prevented,” Lillard told USA TODAY. He called on the military to “step up — ‘man up,’ as they say in the Army — and admit this was a tragic mistake, or error, or whatever word they want to use. Take responsibility. Explain in plain language to the family of Christopher Hodges and the police officer and make sure it does not happen again.”

USA TODAY reported in March that the Army’s substance abuse program is in disarray, with thousands of soldiers turned away from needed treatment, dozens of suicides linked to poor care and too few qualified counselors. The Army responded to the story by ordering an ongoing investigation of all 54 substance abuse outpatient clinics.

Lillard, 74, said he chose to speak out about the Hodges case after USA TODAY’s report in hopes that other lives won’t be lost because soldiers are denied substance abuse treatment.

Hodges’ parents and widow agreed to waive privacy protections to allow the story to be told for the first time.

Lillard resigned from the Army, effective Friday, at least in part over disagreements with the way patient care is handled.

In a statement, the Army said officials did everything they could to support Hodges “through an outpatient program that included … abstinence from alcohol, mandatory urinalysis and breathalyzer testing, compliance with appointments and intervention such as attending weekly group counseling sessions (and) individual therapy sessions.” The soldier also was sent to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and alcohol-abuse prevention training.

The Army emphasized that Hodges did not want hospitalization if it interfered with this training. However, soldiers can be compelled to undergo Army-supported treatment under penalty of separation from the service, Lillard said.
