Yes, yes he actually said that – today.

Beyond the insufferable willful blindness to avoid calling Radical Islam “violent extremism”, and against the backdrop of ISIS today holding two Japanese hostages under specific threat of beheading, our Secretary of State:

“Today we are witnessing a criminal form of anarchy, a nihilism which illegitimately claims an ideological and religious foundation. Against this enemy we are increasingly organizing and fighting back. But in doing so we have to also keep our heads.

Video: Man Speeds to Hospital for Asthma Attack, Police Stop Him and Won’t Let Him Go — He Dies

December 13, 2014

Christian Patriots:

Instead of escorting him to the hospital so that his life could be saved, police detained him for nearly 10 minutes.

CHIPPEWA FALLS — A disturbing raw video has surfaced online showing police pull over a desperate man in need of medical assistance and causing his death over a “traffic violation.”

The footage comes from a police dashcam video. On November 30, Casey Kressin was pulled over for “speeding” and “failing to stop” at a traffic light.

It turns out that Casey was having an asthma attack and was rushing to a nearby hospital.

“He’s having an asthma attack! He’s going to die if we don’t get him to the hospital!” said the driver, Leah Hryniewicki.

Instead of escorting him to the hospital so that his life could be saved, police detained him for nearly 10 minutes.

Casey can be seen kneeling on the pavement.

“Help please,” Casey said, pleading for his life.

“Can’t we just go? I would have made it there by now!” the driver said to the officer.

ISIS Allegedly Murders Nine Journalists in Mosul, Iraq

November 10, 2014

Pundit From Another Planet:   According to reports, the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) murdered four journalists on November 4 and five on November 6 in Mosul, Iraq. Since the terrorist group drove out journalists when they took over the city in June, the reports cannot be confirmed.

A source told Rudaw the jihadist group murdered “brothers Ahmed and Aitar Rafi, Mohandis Yasir, Yasir Alqaisi, and Modhas Adari” in the Sumar district last Thursday. This resident said the Islamic State accused the journalists of being spies. On Tuesday, local residents told Haaretz the militants murdered four journalists. Their bodies were given to medical authorities.

ISIS kidnapped twelve journalists in Mosul in October. A security source told BasNews the journalists are at secret prisons. The source also said the militants kidnapped seven other journalists in the last week of October. He does not know where those journalists are held or their status.

The nine journalists are reportedly part of the original twelve.

ISIS allegedly murdered Iraqi Kurdish journalist Muhannad Akidi in October. The Kurdistan Democratic Party confirmed Akidi was killed, but just a few days later, local media said he was alive, and the family denied the incident.

“It is currently very hard to get any reliable information from either Iraq or Syria,” said Reporters Without Borders, adding, “This example of contradictory information demonstrates the difficulty or even impossibility for journalists to work.”

Beijing sees Obama as a weak leader in the autumn of his final term

Comment by Jim Campbell, Citizen Journalist, Oath Keeper and Patriot.

d3e4fee337ebfa2c640f6a706700589fObama will find he will have very little refuge anywhere he goes once he is finally booted out of the Oval Office.

Like the majority of Americans, our enemies and allies have no respect for the loser whose actions further destabilized a very dangerous world.

If he chooses to stay in the U.S. he will receive hoots and jeers from real Americans.

*Advice: Move back to Chicago or Kenya, (same thing), and he will likely do fine.
With Obama’s lust for power he’d probably run for president of Kenya.
China is no refuge from Obama’s woes

Will a weakened Mr Obama have better luck with China? The answer is not necessarily “no”.

With the exception of North Korea, China’s neighbours are clamouring for a stronger US presence in the region. As the quip goes, Mr Xi talks like Deng Xiaoping – who opened China to the world – but acts like Mao Zedong, the imperial strongman.

Countries that were once wary of military ties with the US, such as Vietnam, India and the Philippines, are now openly courting it. Mr Obama’s pivot means 60 per cent of America’s military resources will be deployed in the Pacific – against the old 50:50 split with the Atlantic.

Second-term US presidents traditionally seek solace on the global stage. Barack Obama is no exception. Following last week’s drubbing in the US midterm elections, he lands in China on Monday for a summit with Xi Jinping. He is unlikely to find Beijing more pliable than Washington DC.

As time goes on, it becomes ever harder to separate his domestic weakness from his global standing. Even the tone is spreading. “US society has grown tired of [Obama’s] banality,” China’s semi-officialGlobal Times said last week.Mr Xi is too polite to put it like that.

Yet there is no mistaking which of the two is on the way up. In his first year in office, Mr Obama offered Beijing a “G2” partnership to tackle the world’s big problems.

China spurned him. Mr Obama then unveiled his “pivot to Asia”. China saw it as US containment and reacted accordingly.

Its defense spending today is almost double in real terms what it was when Mr Obama first visited China in 2009.

funny-animation-4

Over the same period, the US military budget has barely kept pace with inflation.

Watch that change as Republican’s now controlling the Senate put forth legislation that Harry Reid refused to bring to the Senate for a vote.

Should Obama fail to sign said legislation, it will be just one more nail in his coffin and one of a thousand things to have helped destroy his legacy  as the worst, most corrupt “Leader,” in United States History.

Likewise, China’s economic outlook is far less bullish than when Mr Obama last visited – and US growth is finally picking up speed. One of his aims this week will be to push ahead with the Transpacific Trade Partnership – an 11-country grouping that covers well over half the world’s economy. China has not been invited to join TPP. Some in Beijing see it as the economic dimension to US encirclement. If Mr Obama could clinch a deal with Japan and other participants, it would cement his “Asia rebalancing”. On paper, it looks possible. In practice it is unlikely.

This is where his domestic weakness really bites. Little headway has been made in the Pacific talks because Congress has refused to give Mr Obama fast-track negotiating authority. That was with the Democrats in charge. Republicans will assume control of the US Senate in January. Mr Obama’s strategy is to strike a deal and only then ask Congress for fast-track authority. Until now it was always the other way round. Meanwhile, Congress has granted fast track for only five of the 20 years since Bill Clinton negotiated the North American Free Trade Agreement. It is optimistic to think Mr Obama will have a better chance of persuading Republicans to write him a blank cheque after last week’s defeat. The Tea Party’s goal, after all, is to close down his “imperial presidency”.

Xi has shown the US president little respect since their first summit in California last year Tweet this quote

The rest of the world, and China in particular, sees Mr Obama in the opposite light – as a weak leader in the autumn of his presidency. China-watchers say Mr Xi’s ebullience since he took power has been spurred by the view that Mr Obama has only a limited window in office. After that, Hillary Clinton, or a Republican, will take over. Either would be tougher on the world stage than Mr Obama. Even if that is wrong, Mr Xi has shown Mr Obama little respect since their first summit in California last year. Mr Obama warned his Chinese counterpart to stop the cyber attacks on the Pentagon and other targets. China’s cyber-incursions increased. Earlier this year, the White House indicted five Chinese nationals for cyber-espionage, including a senior military officer. None are likely to be brought to trial. It was the kind of empty gesture Beijing has come to expect of Mr Obama.

It is a fair guess that China would be more assertive whoever was in the White House. Its aim is to become a global power. It sees bodies such as the International Monetary Fund as ciphers of US interests. Whoever was US president, China would be trying to undercut US-led institutions.

Likewise, it is hard to believe Mr Obama has caused Chinese military spending to be higher than it would otherwise have been. It is soaring nonetheless.

Since Mr Obama took office, China has invested heavily in expanding its “area of denial” to deter the US from coming to the defence of other claimants in the South China Sea. China is close to joining the US and Russia to become a triad nuclear power with the ability to launch warheads from submarines as well as from air and land.

It is investing billions in “hypersonic” ballistic missiles and other future tools of warfare. Once a symbol of impregnability, America’s fleet of aircraft carriers look increasingly archaic.

Even at the height of his authority, there was not much that Mr Obama could do about most of this. He inherited trends that are bigger than the transient power of leaders. Yet perceptions matter in diplomacy too. On his last visit to China, when he was still riding high at home, Mr Obama was treated shabbily by his hosts. Today’s much-diminished figure is unlikely to have greater sway.

U.S. Military’s ‘Disturbing’ Praise Of Israel’s Gaza Offensive Slammed By Critics

imageedit_2_3194283481November 10,2014

Global Research:  Palestinians collect their belongings from under the rubble of a residential tower, which witnesses said was destroyed by an Israeli air strike in Gaza City on August 24, 2014. (Photo: UN Photo-Shareef Sarhan/flickr/cc)

Critics say it is “shameful” that a high-ranking U.S. military official suggested the Pentagon can learn lessons from Israel’s 50-day attack on Gaza this summer.

gazaAccording the Jerusalem Post, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey made statements Thursday praising the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) for taking “extraordinary lengths to limit collateral damage and civilian casualties” during Operation Protective Edge.

Dempsey told an audience at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs: “We sent a team of senior officers and non-commissioned officers over to work with the IDF to get the lessons from that particular operation in Gaza.” He referred to the group of officers as the “lessons learned team.”

But Ramah Kudaimi of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation said Israel’s tactics should not be replicated.gaza 7“It is very disturbing and shameful that U.S. military commanders believe that what Israel did in Gaza is something to be applauded,” Kudaimi told Common Dreams. “Five hundred dead children does not seem to be evidence that Israel was trying to not kill civilians. The seven-year siege on Gaza is not a policy to avoid civilian suffering.”

Israel’s recent seven-week military assault on Gaza killed at least 2,194 Palestinians, at least 75 percent of them civilians and over 500 of them children.

“At least 80 percent of the 100,000 Palestinian homes damaged or destroyed were refugee homes,” the United Nations Relief and Works Agency reports.

gaza6The offensive damaged or destroyed over half of Gaza’s hospitals and health centers at a time when more than 11,000 were wounded, a UNRWA and World Health Organization joint investigation found.

Israel struck six UN schools sheltering Palestinians, including in cases where exact coordinates of the shelters were formally submitted by UNRWA to the Isreali military. These strikes alone killed at least 47 people and wounded hundreds.

gaza5Furthermore, Israel has been accused of potential war crimes by Amnesty International and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay.

“It is very despicable that the U.S. continues to white-wash Israeli crimes while funding them through military aid,” said Kudaimi. “Dempsey’s statements are not shocking. Anyone who follows U.S. military policy, knows they too have problematic definitions of protecting civilians.”

How In the World Does Harry Reid Get Reelected?

imageedit_2_6844081591October 29, 2014

Just what is it about Democrat Harry Reid that has so many American’s questioning how and why he continues to get re-elected?

Many might attack Reid because they may simply believe he is too old to competently hold his office believing that his decisions are slightly off or unethical at best. Others may not agree with his alleged hypocrisy and shady tactics. Yet, others believe it to be a combination of those two factors and his political stance that sends them over the edge. Whatever the complaint, Harry Reid seems to be stepping on toes and leaving voters screaming for term limits.

Reid, 74, soon to be 75 on December 2, is the Senate Majority Leader and has been since 2006. He was first elected to office in 1987. That means that Harry Reid has been in office for 27 years leading some to believe he has become numb to America’s plight. Or, do all of those years of experience give Reid an upper hand in dealing with the pressing issues of today’s America? If you ask Mary Landreiu (D-LA) she would probably say, yes. Or, would she?

“I think Harry Reid gets beat up more than he deserves. I am going to wait to see what the leadership looks like. We’ll see.” These were Landreiu’s words on whether or not she would vote for Reid. “I’m not saying yes and I’m not saying no.”

Interesting since Landrieu stated in April that she would absolutely vote for Reid.

Reid has struggled with popularity and a recent poll shows that only 13% of Americans have a positive or ‘somewhat positive’ view of him. That means that twice as many citizens see Reid in an unfavorable light making this the lowest rating since the Nevada Democrat became majority leader.

But why is Reid seen in this negative light? According to Megyn Kelly of Fox News, some of his most highlighted offences are that he stole lemonade stand money that a little boy was raising to help his dying father. She stated that he, allegedly, beat his wife for ten years or so. Whether that is the truth or not has yet to be seen but the damage, in the public eye, has already been done.

Reid 2What has been evident and true concerning the tactics of Harry Reid is that he will seem to do anything to keep control of the Democratic seat, whether he is in it or not, by making outlandish remarks and by flip-flopping on many issues.

Reid has made ridiculous statements concerning Obamacare and has, according to The Blaze, “asserted that the stories of Americans who lost coverage, or had to pay more, or had to find new doctors under the Affordable Care Act are all lies.” This, of course, isn’t true in the slightest as many Americans have not only lost their doctors but have also had to endure higher costs as well.

Reid even went so far as to call all the ads concerning Obamacare lies and those who posted the ads liars. It wasn’t until later that same day that he returned to the Senate floor and said, “I can’t say that every one of the Koch brothers’ ads are a lie, but I’ll say this…the vast, vast majority of them are.” Really?

His statements on Obamacare were wrong but the fact that Harry Reid made Judicial Watch’s “Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians” list…again, is remarkable.

“The Judicial Watch list is alphabetical, so there is no way to tell whether he’s the most corrupt or 10th. But, Nevadans know that Reid routinely makes headlines for alleged “influence peddling,” securing tens of millions of dollars worth of deals for his sons and their clients, including a Chinese green energy group; securing $21.5 million to build a bridge over the Colorado River from a gambling town in Nevada to a town in Arizona where Harry owns 160 acres of undeveloped land; misappropriation of campaign funds; and an alleged $600,000 bribery deal and more,” according to The Blaze.

Reid doesn’t spend time defending himself against accusations of wrongdoing nor does he explain why his positions seem to change from vigorously being against an issue to later being all for it.

On illegal immigration, in 1993, Harry said: “if making it easy to be an illegal alien isn’t enough, how about offering a reward for being an illegal immigrant? No sane country would do that, right? Guess again. If you break our laws by entering this country without permission and give birth to a child, we reward that child with U.S. citizenship and guarantee access to all public and social services this country provides. Now that’s a lot of services. Is it any wonder that two-thirds of the babies born at taxpayer expense at county run hospitals in Los Angeles are born to illegal alien mothers?”

ReidReid seemed adamant about not allowing this type of abuse of our resources for illegal immigrants. But now he favors comprehensive immigration reform which rewards illegal aliens every avenue to citizenship. He supports amnesty. He is all for the Dream Act, allowing kids of illegal aliens to obtain in-state tuition at colleges and universities. He voted “no” on restrictive welfare for illegal aliens.

What happened Harry Reid? Didn’t you say it was “insane” to promote this kind of welfare environment?

The Federal Reserve is another area that Reid has flip-flopped on. In 1995, he stated, “I have sponsored legislation ever year that would call for an audit of the Federal Reserve system. I offer that amendment every year, every year it gets nowhere.”

Something changed, however, and Reid refused to even mention the Federal Reserve Transparency Act for a vote. In 1995 the Federal debt was $4.9 trillion and today it is over $17.3 trillion. The fact that Reid doesn’t seem to be interested in a vote to audit the Federal Reserve leaves Americans wondering why.

It isn’t just the casual American citizen who is backing away from Reid, fellow constituents are as well.

“Harry Reid and Mich McConnell have given us the most dysfunctional government in a generation and they need to step aside,” stated Rick Weiland (D-SD). “They both failed the American people and it’s time for new leadership.”

Democrat Mark Warner of Virginia also said that “Both parties might be better off with new leadership.”

There are some in Washington who “have talked about a ‘do-nothing Congress’ –and that could certainly be said of the Senate,” According to CBN News. “Critics say the reason for that pretty much comes down to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.”

“Washington political observers like John Hart, editor-in-chief of Opportunity Lives, say the Nevada Democrat’s near total clampdown on votes and amendments is historic. He [Reid] has blocked senators from offering amendments more than all other majority leaders in our history times two.”

reid4It is by limiting these amendments and votes that Reid keeps himself and other demarcates from being held accountable during the campaign “for votes they never had to cast.”

Nothing good can come of this type of deception. For example, there have been only 14 votes on Republican amendments since July of 2013. Those votes were only 14 of hundreds upon hundreds filed!

“By blocking almost every senator on almost every issue…Reid takes away the basic right to representation…This is about the rights and privileges of every single American citizen.”

There are many reasons for Americans to be disillusioned with politics and even more, it seems, with politician Harry Reid. There is much written on Reid about his wrongdoings and shady character but I have yet to come across anything containing rebuttal to his accusers. Perhaps, in time, he will answer for the allegations against him. In the meantime, how does Harry Reid continue to be reelected?

The Advice of an Israeli Agent

imageedit_8_6851277057

October 10, 2014

I have no doubt that most of you will not read all of this, a mistake in my opinion. Nothing is impossible at this point in our history. The following was sent to me and not written by me, but it may make sense to you. Terrorism is certainly imminent anywhere in the world these days. These were the predictions and advice of an Israeli Agent…Do with them what you may.

“Juval Aviv was the Israeli Agent upon whom the movie “Munich” was based. He was Golda Meir’s bodyguard, and she appointed him to track down and bring to justice the Palestinian terrorist who took the Israeli athletes hostage and killed them during the Munich Olympic Games.

“In a lecture in New York City he shared information that EVERY American needs to know—but that our government has not yet shared with us.

He predicted the London subway bombing on the Bill O’Reilly show on Fox News stating publicly that it would happen within a week. At the time, O’Reilly laughed, and mocked him saying that in a week he wanted him back on the show. Unfortunately, within a week the terrorist attack had occurred.

“Juval Aviv gave intelligence (via what he had gathered in Israel and the Middle East) to the Bush Administration about 9/11, a month before it occurred. His report specifically said they would use planes as bombs and target high-profile buildings and monuments. Congress has since hired him as a security consultant.

imageedit_11_3986963883

‘Now for his future predictions: He predicts the next terrorist attack on the U.S. will occur within the next few months.’

“Forget hijacking airplanes, because he says terrorist will NEVER try and hijack a plane again as they know the people onboard will never to down quietly again. Aviv believes our airport security is a joke—that we have been reactionary rather than proactive in developing strategies that are truly effective.

FOR EXAMPLE:

  1. Our airport technology is outdated. We look for metal, and the new explosives are made of plastic.
  2. He talked about how some idiot tried to light his shoe on fire. Because of that, now everyone had to take off their shoes. A group of idiots tried to bring aboard liquid explosives. Now we can’t bring liquids on board. He says he’s waiting for some suicidal maniac to pour liquid explosives on his underwear; at which point, security will have us all traveling naked! Every strategy we have is reactionary.
  3. We only focus on security when people are heading to the gates.

“Aviv says that if a terrorist attack targets airports in the future, they will target busy times on the front end of the airport when/where people are checking in. It will be easy for someone to take two suitcases of explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them to watch their bags for a minute while they run to the restroom or get a drink, and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. In Israel, security checks bags BEFORE people can even ENTER the airport.

“Aviv says the next terrorist attack here in America is imminent and will involve suicide bombers and non-suicide bombers in places where large groups of people congregate. (i.e., Disneyland, Las Vegas casinos, big cities –‘New York, San Francisco, Chicago, etc.’– and that it will also include shopping malls, subways in rush hour, train stations, etc., as well as, rural America this time. The inter-ands (Wyoming, Montana, etc.).

“The attack will be characterized by simultaneous detonations around the county (terrorists like big impact), involving at least 5-8 cities, including rural areas.

“Aviv says terrorists won’t need to use suicide bombers in many of the larger cities, because at places like the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, they can simply valet park a car loaded with explosives and walk away.

imageedit_2_2133784536“Aviv says all of the above is well-known in intelligence circles, but that our U.S. Government does not want to ‘alarm American citizens’ with the facts. The world is quickly going to become ‘a different place,’ and issues like ‘global warming’ and political correctness will become totally irrelevant.

“On an encouraging note, he says that Americans don’t have to be concerned about being nuked. Aviv says the terrorist who want to destroy America will not use sophisticated weapons. They like to use suicide as a frontline approach. It’s cheap, it’s easy, it’s effective; and they have an infinite abundance of young militant more than willing ‘meet their destiny.’

“He also says the next level of terrorist, over which America should be most concerned, will not be coming form abroad. But will be, instead, ‘homegrown,’ having attended and been educated in our own schools and universities right here in the U.S. He says to look for ‘students’ who frequently travel back and forth to the Middle East. These young terrorists will be most dangerous because they will know our language and will fully understand the habits of Americans; but that we Americans won’t know/understand a thing about them.

“Avis says that, as a people, Americans are unaware and uneducated about the terrorist threats we will inevitably face. America still has only a handful of Arabic and Farsi speaking people in our intelligence networks, and Aviv says it is critical that we change that fact SOON.

“So, what can America do to protect itself? From an intelligence perspective, Aviv says the U.S. needs to stop relying on satellites and technology for intelligence. We need to instead follow, Israel’s, Ireland’s and England’s hands-on examples of human intelligence, both from an infiltration perspective as well as to pay attention to, and trust ‘aware’ citizens to help. We need to engage and educate ourselves as citizens, ‘like babies.’ Our government thinks we ‘can’t handle the truth’ and are concerned that we’ll panic if we understand the realities of terrorism. Aviv says this is a deadly mistake.

“Aviv recently created/executed a security test for our Congress, by placing an empty briefcase in five well-traveled spots in five major cities. The results? Not one person called 911 or sought a policeperson to check it out. In fact, in Chicago, someone tried to steal the briefcase!

“In comparison, Aviv says that citizens of Israel are so well ‘trained’ that an unattended bag or package would be reported in seconds by citizens who know to publicly shout, ‘Unattended Bag!’ The area would quickly & calmly be cleared by the citizens themselves.

imageedit_5_9077541023“Unfortunately, America hasn’t been yet ‘hurt enough’ by terrorism for their government to fully understand the need to educate it’s citizens or for the government to understand that it’s their citizens who are, inevitably, the best first-line of defense against terrorism.

“Aviv also was concerned about the high number of children here in America who were in preschool and kindergarten after 9/11, who were ‘lost’ without parents being able to pick them up, and about our schools that had no plan in place to best care for the students until parents could get there. (In New York City, this was days, in some cases!)

“He stresses that importance of having a plan, that’s agreed upon within your family, of how to respond in the event of a terrorist emergency. He urges parents to contact their children’s schools and demand that the schools, too, develop plans of action, just as they do in Israel.

“Does your family know what to do if you can’t contact one another by phone? Where would you gather in an emergency? He says we should all have a plan that is easy enough for even our youngest children to remember and follow.

“Aviv says that the U.S. government has in force a plan, that in the event of another terrorist attack, EVERYONE’S ability to use cell phones, blackberries, etc., will immediately be cut-off, as this is the preferred communication source used by terrorists and is often the way that their bombs are detonated.

“How will you communicate with your loved ones in the event you cannot speak to each other? You need to have a plan.

These were the predictions and advice of an Israeli Agent. Do with them what you may.

Obama Alienates Right & Left on this 1 Critical Issue

imageedit_2_4073904942October 3, 2014

Conservatives United.com: President Obama has made a lot of people unhappy, but perhaps nowhere more so than on the subject of immigration. There, he has managed to anger the Right and alienate the Left equally. Conservatives detest what they regard as Obama’s lack of respect for legal process, and Liberals decry his record on immigration as a mishmash of broken promises, failed attempts, and political cowardice.

Largely because of Obama’s pro-immigration reform stance, the country’s Hispanic voters lined up with Liberals to elect him. Immigration reform was one of the issues Obama promised to address within his first year in office. It soon became apparent this was easier said than done. Immigration reform had failed during his predecessor’s tenure, despite President George W. Bush’s support. Overall, opposition in the country ran high.

After he was elected, Obama appointed Rahm Emanuel his Chief of Staff. Emanuel had been counseling Democrats for years to avoid the controversial issue. The first year passed, and other issues took precedence. No immigration bill was introduced. Meanwhile, in an attempt to placate the Right, the administration increased enforcement of existing law, and Hispanic groups began referring to Obama as Deporter in Chief.

Finally, in 2010, the Obama administration sent proposed legislation to the Hill. The DREAM Act was designed to provide protection and certain advantages of citizenship to young people brought into the United States as small children. The Act did not pass, although the administration later instituted parts of the proposal through Executive Order. Hispanics were somewhat encouraged, but frustrated at the general lack of progress.

While the most conservative wing of the Republican Party never wavered in their opposition to immigration reform, some in the party believed it was important to win over Latino support. In 2013, eight senators introduced a full immigration reform bill, which passed the Senate. The bill died in the House, however, where the Republican majority strongly opposed it. A recent ABC News poll shows that most of the country still opposes any reform that includes a path to citizenship for illegal aliens.

In the absence of any hope of passing legislation, the administration has been considering more executive action. But the recent influx of young people from Central America has turned up the heat on this issue. Red State candidates in the November 2014 elections fear they face defeat if they support reform. Consequently, Democratic hopefuls have been leaning on the President to put off any further action, and he has agreed. An administration official recently announced, “Because of the Republicans’ extreme politicization of this issue, the President believes it would be harmful to the policy itself and to the long-term prospects for comprehensive immigration reform to announce administrative action before the elections.” Now, more than ever, immigration supporters are incensed.

Overall, among both Conservatives and Liberals, Americans’ approval rating for Obama’s handling of immigration has dropped to 31%. A full two out of three of Americans disapprove of the way this president is handling immigration. ConservativesUnited.com
