O’Keefe video shows support for ISIS, Hamas, and Hezb’allah

By Rick Moran, American Thinker

Today, O’Keefe released a video that’s absolutely shocking. It shows students, administrators, and teachers all eager and willing to sign a petition to financially support the terrorist groups ISIS, Hamas, and Hezb’allah.

In a news release, Project Veritas explains:

Today’s video reveals a multitude of professors, administrations, and students at numerous California state universities signing a petition pledging financial support to ISIS, Hamas and HezbollahProfessor Bruce Burnam of California State University, Northridge had no problem signing the petition pledging economic support to ISIS, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Nor did, Jon Masciana, Director of Admissions at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine who gladly signed the pro-terror petition.

“I was encouraged by the fact that many of the people we approached refused to sign our faux petition, however, I was disturbed by the amount of professors, administrators, and students across California who had no ethical qualms whatsoever about supporting ISIS, Hamas, and Hezbollah,” said Project Veritas President James O’Keefe. “There were far too many people who were far too willing to support these recognized terrorist organizations. It is truly frightening just how many supporters these organizations have on our college campuses and the affect it is having on our nation’s youth.”

Last week, O’Keefe released a video showing several high-level officials and a professor at Barry University sanctioning a club with the stated purpose of sending material aid to ISIS. The Project Veritas investigative journalist, an honors student, was subsequently unjustly suspended. And earlier this month, O’Keefe released a video showing a dean at Cornell University advising a Project Veritas investigative journalist on how to start and fund a pro-ISIS club on campus.

O’Keefe calls the petition drive a “huge success.” But if you watch the video carefully, I’m not sure how many of the people we saw signing the petition actually understood that they would be asked to give money to terrorists.

But this is a small point. The fact that there were dozens of people willing to sign a petition that was in support of advancing “economic opportunity” for members of terrorist outfits is a damning indictment of the political correctness and hostility to Israel and the West that abounds on college campuses across the country.

Would-Be Suicide Bomber Targeted Kansas Army Base

dApril 11, 2015

The Counter Jihad Report:

IPT, by Abha Shankar  •  Apr 10, 2015

A year ago, he wanted to join the U.S. Army to kill his fellow soldiers. When that didn’t work, 20-year-old John T. Booker repeatedly expressed his desire to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) or commit a suicide attack in the United States on the terrorist group’s behalf.

Booker, a convert to Islam who changed his name to Mohammed Abdullah Hassan, said American soldiers are enemies to Muslims, and the Quran sanctions killing enemies anywhere.

FBI agents arrested Booker Friday morning just outside Fort Riley, a military base near Manhattan, Kan. He was driving a van loaded with what he thought was 1,000 pounds of explosives. In fact, the bomb was rendered inert by FBI agents and informants. He ischargedwith attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, attempting to blow up government property and providing material support to the Islamic State.

In conversations with an FBI informant, Booker repeatedly expressed his intent to kill. “I will kill any kuffar. I will follow any place … if I was with [the Islamic State] and they said look, we are going to the White House right now … I would go with them without any question,” he saidin November.

He was rejected by the Army in March 2014, after someone alerted authorities to Facebook posts extolling violent jihad and expressing his desire to kill American soldiers. “I will soon be leaving you forever so goodbye! I’m going to wage jihad and hopes that I die.” In another post the same month, he said: “Getting ready to be killed in jihad is a HUGE adrenaline rush!!! I am so nervous. NOT because I’m scared to die but I am eager to meet my lord.”

Booker told FBI agents at that time he wanted to enlist “to commit an insider attack against American soldiers like Major Nidal Hassan had done at Fort Hood, Texas.”

For reasons that aren’t clear, Booker was left alone until October, when an informant started talking with him. Booker suggested several ideas for terrorist attacks, mentioning Fort Riley as an attractive target “because the post is famous and there are a lot of soldiers stationed there.”

He also said “he wanted to see the fear in the kuffar’s eyes as he pushed the button and they ran for their lives,” the criminal complaint filed Friday said.

Last month, Booker said he wanted to emulate a suicide truck bombing by an American known as “Jihadi Joe.” Booker bought supplies to make a car-bomb from a list the informants provided. He made two martyrdom videos, including one in which he gave his bayah [pledge of allegiance] to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi and urged Muslims to support them.

The other video, recorded Wednesday, shows Booker describing his 1,000-pound ammonium nitrate bomb. “Inshallah, this will kill many kuffar [nonbelievers]. This message is to you America. You sit in your homes and you think that this war is just over in Iraq . . . we today we will bring the Islamic State straight to your doorstep. You think this is just a game … when this bomb blows up and kills as many kuffar as possible, maybe then you’ll realize it.”

Agents arrested him just outside Fort Riley, at a little-used gate Booker thought would get him onto the base.

He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

» FBI SAYS ISLAMIC STATE WANTS TO HACK WORDPRESS WEBSITES

dApril 9, 2015

Christian Patriots:

Earlier this week the FBI issued a warning that hackers sympathetic to the Islamic State will use WordPress plugin vulnerabilities to compromise websites.

“These individuals are hackers using relatively unsophisticated methods to exploit technical vulnerabilities and are utilizing the ISIL name to gain more notoriety than the underlying attack would have otherwise garnered,” the FBI public service announcement states. “Methods being utilized by hackers for the defacements indicate that individual Web sites are not being directly targeted by name or business type. All victims of the defacements share common WordPress plug-in vulnerabilities easily exploited by commonly available hacking tools.”

The FBI says “ISIS-branded attacks” have targeted news organizations, commercial entities, religious institutions, federal, state, and local government institutions, foreign governments, and assorted other domestic and international websites, according to ZDNet, a business technology news website published by CBS Interactive.

On Wednesday, the “Islamic State Hacking Division” allegedly took down the French-language TV station TV5Monde’s website and Facebook page, halting operations. The suspected perpetrators referred to themselves as the “CyberCaliphate.” The station is broadcast in over 200 nations around the world, including the U.S., Canada and Britain.

In January, ISIS allegedly attacked the U.S. Central Command Twitter feed. “A Twitter account from a group identifying itself as Anonymous said Monday it had tracked the source of the hack to Maryland, but that was not confirmed by official sources,” USA Today reported.

Anonymous later said the hack traced back to Maryland, home of the National Security Agency.

Video: ISIS Muslim Militants Behead 4 Christian Children for Refusing to Convert to Islam

Sharia Unveiled:

ISIS Beheads 4 Christian Children

by, Loulla-Mae Eleftheriou-Smith | The Independent

Isis have beheaded four Christian children in Iraq for refusing to convert to Islam, a British vicar based in the country has claimed.

Canon Andrew White, who is known as the ‘vicar of Baghdad’, told Orthodox Christian Network that the killings happened in a Christian enclave close to Baghdad which has been taken over by Isis (formerly known as Islamic State).

He spoke of how Isis has “hounded” the Christians out of Iraq, and how “they killed in huge numbers, they chopped their children in half, they chopped their heads off, and they moved north and it was so terrible what happened”.

Here is the interview where Canon White disclosed this information:

He told the network that militants “came to one of our people the other day, one of the Christians.”

“They said to one man, an adult, ‘Either you say the words of conversion to Islam or we kill all your children’.”

“He was desperate, he said the words. And then he phoned me, and said, ‘Abouna [Father], I said the words, does that mean that Yeshua doesn’t’ love me anymore?’ I said, ‘Yeshua still loves you, he will always love you.”

Canon White claimed that the children who were beheaded had refused to “follow Mohammed.”

“Isis turned up and said to the children, ‘You say the words that you will follow Mohammed’.”

“The children, all under 15, four of them, said no, we love Yeshua, we have always loved we have always followed Yeshua, Yeshua has always been with us.

“They said: ‘Say the words.’ They said ‘No, we can’t.’ They chopped all their heads off. How do you respond to that? You just cry.”

Canon White said that Isis were threatening to kill him, and that he is now living in Israel, following orders from the Archbishop of Canterbury to leave Iraq. He said that most of his staff are still in the north of Iraq trying to look after displaced Christians.

Which is it – ‘ISIS’ or ‘ISIL’ – What’s the Difference

imageedit_2_7986459359Many Americans are becoming confused as The White House has bounced between the two acronyms “ISIS” and “ISIL” and are left wondering what the difference is.

The majority of media are using the acronym ISIS so it is no wonder that when government officials of the United Nations, U.S. State Department and President Obama, have switched to using ISIL confusion ensues.

ISIS and ISIL refer to the same terror group, however, there are differences. ISIS is an acronym for Islamic State in Iraq and Syria while ISIL stands for Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant. ISIS’s group is on both sides of the border between Iraq and Syria while ISIL is in the entire area east of the Mediterranean from Egypt, east to Iran and Turkey.

This distinction is very important because our administration use “ISIL instead of ISIS to emphasize the group’s goal to expand its influence beyond the borders of Syria and Iraq,” according to WCHS6.

imageedit_5_5717958629ISIS is an al-Qaeda associated faction and is accountable for thousands of deaths during the Syrian civil war and also in Iraq. Building a new country is their aim. This new country would consist of Syria, Iraq and some other Middle Eastern Countries.

ISIL, on the other hand, is “now being used by the U.S. State Department as well as the United Nations, since the group wants to extend that influence even further,” reported CBS5. “That reach is called…the Levant. Therefore they are the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL.”

CNN reported, “The U.S. has stuck with ISIL because the group appears to have to set its sights beyond Iraq and Syria. And also because Washington doesn’t want to recognize their plans for a caliphate.”

“We believe this is the most accurate translation of the group’s name and reflects its aspirations to rule over a broad swath of the Middle East,” vice president for The Associated Press reported. “…so better stick to ISIL and clarify that it’s the same as ISIS, but a more accurate translation from the Arabic.”

CNN went on to report that “The jihadists,” on the other hand, “like to refer to themselves simply as the Islamic State, a term more accurately reflecting the organizations aspirations of creating a caliphate across national borders.”

Though both ISIS and ISIL are both correct to use and refer to the same terrorist group. The term ISIL encompasses more geographical territory and is, therefore, being used by government officials to avoid confusion. The irony isn’t lost on many.
