It’s Official, Transgender Recruits Will Be Accepted into the Navy and Marines by 2017

In June the Defense Department ended its ban on transgender service members. New policies for the Navy and Marines are now being implemented including a time-frame as to when transgender troops will have full military acceptance, care for medical transition inclusive.

According to Navy Times, “…the Navy Department is preparing to provide medical and administrative support for transitioning sailors and Marines, train personnel on the particulars of serving in a transgender-inclusive force and, by next summer, accept transgender recruits into boot camp.”

A transgender service member is described as anyone diagnosed by military personnel as medically in need gender transition, according to ALNAV 053/16.

Both the Navy and the Marine applicants who meet all standards related to service will be admitted by July 1, 2017. Forced separation from other service members or being denied re-enlistment because of ‘gender identity’ will be strictly prohibited.

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus stated, “The gender identity of an otherwise qualified individual will not bar them from joining the Navy or Marine Corps, from admission to the United States Naval Academy, or from participating in Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps or any other accession program.”

“These policies and procedures are premised on the conclusion that open service by transgender Sailors and Marines, while being subject to the same standards and procedures as other members with regard to their medical fitness for duty, physical fitness, uniform and grooming, deployability, and retention, is consistent with military readiness.”

In the works are training handbooks to provide guidance to all involved, from the commanding officers to the rest of the force.

By November 1, instructions outlining procedures, responsibilities and policy will be released that relate to “personnel matters for transgender troops, including retention and accession standards, in-service transition, and medical coverage.”

It’s a new world. Transgender Sailors and Marines who desire to undergo the medical gender change will be able to begin the process by October 1.

A Marine’s Epic Letter Blasts Michele Obama

Michele Obama was invited by Tuskegee University to give the commencement speech this summer. With racial tensions high many believed her speech to be forceful yet fitting while others believed it to be nothing more than igniting a fire into an inferno.

The Washington Post, for example, stated that “Obama gave voice to the frustrations and hopes of African Americans in this country. Her words were powerful and forcefully delivered without apology. Coming after what we have witnessed in Ferguson and Baltimore, Obama’s speech at the historically black institution has added resonance.”

ClashDaily, on the other hand, wrote, “Michele Obama just couldn’t resist the opportunity to throw some kerosene on the racial tension fire, but not everyone is so willing to simply let her get away with it.”

The full speech is below for you to watch and decide for yourself what you think about it. But, before you do, read a letter from Marine Soldier Mike Shepard who is a writer for the DC Gazette:

Mrs. Obama

It sickens me that I have to take time to write you this letter. I am a Marine who doesn’t recognize color because every color has lived and died for you. You live in a free country to blame your life on the color of another man’s skin. All colors have given their lives for an educated woman to have the freedom to be so ignorant. I don’t blame black people for the ignorance that comes from your mouth. I love all colors because I love all that God creates. I don’t have to like you to love you because we can’t always like the ones we love. Just because I don’t like you today doesn’t mean I can’t like you tomorrow. I don’t like you or your husband today because of what you’re doing to this country. Isn’t it funny how the truth always reveals itself in time. You and your husband never showed this side of yourselves in 2008 before he was elected.

You both live better than 99% of the people in this world because of this country. You said that you are for the first time proud to be an American. Well, I will tell you that most of us are ashamed of you. You and your husband have become millionaires off the people of this country, but demonstrate very little appreciation for all that we give. White, black, brown or indifferent millions have fought and died for you to have the freedom to say the ignorant things you say. You are educated, but clearly have very little common sense. You blame past generations of Americans for the troubles of a few. Stop blaming white people for your misery and take a look at yourself in the mirror. We are responsible for our own happiness and misery. The KKK is ignorance wrapped in a sheet while the Black panthers are raised on ignorance and hate. No different from the teaching of Islam thinking their race is better than all other men. God is love and creates every color to include everyone’s skin. To truly love God is to love all that He loves. For that I love each of you and pray that we all start taking responsibility for our own damned sins.

Martin Luther King had a dream that we would all live in the promise land. He is not remembered for being black. He is remembered for the love, and character he had within his heart. If you don’t like this country get on that plane and never come back. I will stay here and love all Americans, regardless of skin. I will love the beauty of what God created and stand tall with my American friends. Not because of their color but for the character and love they carry within. This country doesn’t owe you anymore than it owes me. So many have thanked me for my service and I will always be grateful. I pray that one day you and your husband might cause me to be grateful for yours.

You will never be remembered as the First Lady of Color but soon forgotten after you leave the White House. You nor your husband shall ever divide us. I wish you no harm, but pray you will take your troubles to a land you no longer hate. Hate shall come and go but His love shall last forever.

FBI Issues Alert: U.S. Military Families Being Frightened By Middle Eastern Men

In Colorado and Wyoming the FBI have issued alerts warning all law enforcement agencies that U.S. Military families are being approached by Middle Eastern men.

“In one case last May the wife of a military member was approached in front of her home by two Middle Eastern males,” according to CBSDenver. “The men stated that she was the wife of a U.S. interrogator. When she denied their claims the men laughed.”

To say she was frightened may be an understatement. Eventually the men left the area but, according to the report, were seen on several occasions in that same area.

It has been reported that incidence like this had also happened in Wyoming thorough out the month of June.

“On numerous occasions, family members of military personnel were confronted by Middle Eastern males in front of their homes,” reports CBS. “The males have attempted to obtain personal information about the military members and family members through intimidations. Those family members reported feeling scared” and understandably so.

Being aware of the incidents, Colorado’s Department of Homeland Security has been urging that any suspicious activities seen by military families be reported immediately to the FBI.

The FBI refuses comment at this time.

So, when someone tells you that they’ve “got your six,” it means they’re watching your back. [GRAPHIC VIDEO] — U.S. Coast Guard Deeply Offended: Did Comedy Central Go Too Far In Pornographic Hazing Scene?

Comedy Central’s portrayal of a hazing scene involving  a U.S. Coast Guard Soldier, a dog, a cup of soda-pop and an exposed anus may have gone too far.

Workaholics season five premiere featured the Coast Guard recruiters involved in a conflict with one of its performers. Anders Holm played the role of the lead character. In this particularly offensive scene, Holm is held down on all fours by the recruiters as soda is poured down his exposed rear-end. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, a small dog is then allowed to lap it all up from his exposed buttocks.

Without saying, the Coast Guard is less than happy.

The judge advocate general of the military’s chairman of sexual assault prevention wrote a scathing letter to Viacom expressing their displeasure (full letter link below):

 “While the episode’s storyline about military recruiters may have intended to present a humorous and self-deprecating look at service rivalries, the portrayal of military members lining up to take part in a pornographic film, participating in a vile hazing incident which included both an illegal criminal act of sexual assault and the involvement of a dog, was reprehensible. Sexual assault is a crime. It’s not humorous and it’s not funny. … Your target audience is made up of the same women and men who wear our Nation’s flag on their military uniforms and willingly give their lives to protect our First Amendment rights. And, while you have the right to air these episodes, you also undermine the good your network does by using its platform to educate and expose your audience to critical thinking.”

Cyber Jihad! Government Accounts Hacked By Pro-ISIS Group, Soldiers At Risk

The Twitter account for the United States’ Central Command was taken over by Islamic State hackers sometime after noon Eastern on Monday, where the @CENTCOM header image was replaced with pro-jihadist images.

The group identifying itself as “Cyber Caliphate” then posted a series of threatening tweets, where they also posted personal information of U.S. Soldiers.

One tweet read, “We won’t stop! We know everything about you, your wives and children.”

Another read, “We are coming, watch your back.”

Shortly after the cyber attack began, Twitter suspended the @CENTCOM account in order to prevent additional personal information from being leaked.

CENTCOM confirmed in a statement that its Twitter account had been “compromised”stating that it “is taking appropriate measures to address the matter.”

Additionally, Cyber Caliphate hacked the YouTube account associated with Central Command, where the header image was replaced with the same “I love you ISIS” image. Propaganda videos were then uploaded that were titled: “FLAMES OF WAR ISIS VIDEO,” “O Soldiers of Truth Go Forth,” and “Airstrike against an ISIS warehouse, Dec. 29, near Fallujah, Iraq,” which all feature graphic terrorism footage.

Video: Obama Makes Disgraceful Military Announcement… Right In Front of the Troops

When I was growing up, my mother taught me little bits of wisdom that would serve me well later in life. One of these was the old adage, “There’s a time and a place for everything.”

Apparently, President Barack Obama’s mother didn’t impart this wisdom to him. Nor, apparently, did Frank Marshall Davis.

It’s no secret that Obama is so anti-military he makes Michael Dukakis look like George Patton. However, there’s a time and a place to show that side of yourself in public.

One of them, funnily enough, is not when you’re addressing our men in uniform.

The president was addressing our troops at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

In addition to a weak, patronizing quip comparing Santa’s sleigh to a Lockheed C-130, Obama decided to use the occasion to tell the military just how high a priority they are. (Spoiler alert: not very.)

“The time of deploying large ground forces with big military footprints to engage in nation building overseas — that’s coming to an end,” Obama said.

“Going forward, our military will be leaner — but as your commander in chief, I’m going to make sure we keep you ready for the range of missions that we ask of you” (H/T Breitbart).

I boldfaced two parts. The first is the lede, the second is the obviously false rationalization.

Just so we’re clear, this is a military that’s ramping up to fight the largest group of terrorists in Iraq and Syria, a group that flourished in the vacuum created by Obama’s most recognizable attempt at making the military “leaner” by vacating Iraq in spite of all reasonable advice.

How much fat can you possibly trim from a military that’s gearing up to fight the gravest threat to peace and stability in the Middle East since Saddam, especially when you’ve already cut so much?

The answer is that you can’t, but our president refuses to acknowledge that.

Opposition to the military is just one of the white elephants in Obama’s discredited soixante-huitard liberalism, where teachable moments and moral relativism will solve all of the world’s conflicts.

That cold, hard reality has debunked these myths seems to matter not in the least to our commander in chief, who seems actually to believe that our beleaguered military is too big and too interventionist for a job it barely  has the resources to accomplish now.

Nevertheless, Obama continues to talk a big game, going as far as to threaten terrorists during his harangue.

“You threaten America and you will have no safe haven. We will find you and, like petty tyrants and terrorists before you, the world is going to leave you behind and keep moving on without you,” he said. “Because we will get you.”

I’m sure somewhere in Mosul, functionaries of  the terrorist group that calls itself the Islamic State are shaking in their stolen boots, knowing that our president is threatening to cut resources to a military that is hardly making a dent in their stranglehold on the region now.

It’s funny that our nation’s executive sees fit to spend so much of his time pushing to raise the minimum wage for our nation’s cashiers and Subway sandwich artists, but tells the underpaid men and women in uniform who do the thankless job of carrying out his ill-considered foreign policy that times are going to be “leaner” for them.

Nice work, Mr. President.
