Many American’s are aware, and should be concerned, that President Vladimir Putin recently placed severe restrictions on religious freedoms in Russia making any evangelism or religious speech outside of churches forbidden. Any Christian wishing to share their faith outside of a designated worship center will be breaking the law.

This so-called anti-terrorism legislation not only attacks religious liberty, it demolishes free-speak and makes it a crime. “This new situation,” according to Dr. Haukka, President of Great Commission Media Ministries, “resembles the Soviet Union in 1929. At that time confession of faith was permitted only in church. Practically speaking, we are back in the same situation. These anti-terrorist laws are some of the most restrictive laws in post-Soviet history.”

Suppressing the rights of assembly, speech and the press, to name a few, seem routine in Moscow but many believe this has gone too far. This new legislation strikes fear among Christian Russians believing that unregistered congregations and house groups will be targeted and persecuted, according to Christian Today.

“According to Forum 18, which monitors religious freedom in Russia and former Soviet republics, the amendments to the Religion Law restrict those who can share beliefs to people with permission from members of state-registered religious groups and organizations…They also prohibit even the informal sharing of beliefs, for example responding to questions or comments.”

Any breach of this new law, effective July 20, will lead to substantial monetary penalties.

U.S. Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) wrote an article at The Daily Signal stating the new law is “an affront to free people everywhere.”

“We need to begin telling the truth about an increasingly aggressive actor in global affairs,” he said. “This Russian law would be an affront to free people everywhere—at home and abroad—who believe that rights of conscience—the rights to free speech and to freedom of religion—are pre-political.”

As of yet “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

U.S. Constitution, First Amendment

Suppressing speech and the media, not to mention Political Correctness, seems to be the growing trend in America. Should American’s have reason for concern that this “anti-terrorist” law someday be our reality?

Russia Debuts ‘Straight Pride’ Flag, Kicks Militant Gay Crowd In The Teeth

Mad World News:

In a move that’s completely opposite of every other Western nation, Russia has debuted their answer to the homomania sweeping across the United States and other nations. Despite outside pressure, they’re not backing down.

Russia has faced mounting pressure to cave to the leftist social engineering schemes to which the rest of the West has fallen victim, but the nation has once again taken a strong stand for traditional values and a strong family unit by adopting a “straight pride” flag, Breitbart reported. That’s right, President Vladimir Putin’s party is celebrating their #realfamilies campaign with a ceremonial flag representing pride in marriages which can produce children without having to adopt them.

“This is our answer to same-sex marriages, this mockery of the very concept of family,” said Russia United politician Aleksey Lisovenko. “We must prevent gay fever in our country and support traditional values.”

Believe it or not, the new Russian flag is an adaptation of a similar flag from France, where marriage for all marches in favor of heterosexual marriages have been growing in popularity but aren’t widely reported for obvious reasons. Lisovenko told reporters that the Russian flag was created with “allies” in France as a symbol of friendship after social media users accused the Soviets of ripping the design off.

The flag’s release came on Wednesday, as the nation celebrated Saint Peter and Saint Fevronia, who are the patron saints of marriage in the Orthodox Church. The holiday was re-instituted in 2008 after being done away with in 1917 during the Red Scare, and it’s celebrated as the Day of Family, Love, and Faithfulness — the Orthodox version of Valentine’s Day.

Russia has promoted heterosexual marriages ever since 2006 to grow their population without having to open their borders to mass immigration. In fact, the “Mother Russia” program paid a hefty bonus of over $25,000 to couples that had their second child; meanwhile, the government would throw concerts for young couples in which love ballads were played to get them in the mood to go do the dirty and start a family.

The sad thing is that all Russia is doing is standing up for the traditional family, yet they get skewered from every angle for being homophobic. It’s not homophobic to promote the only relationship which the human race can depend on for its survival, and that’s a fact. Modern medicine doesn’t change nature, and according to nature, you need a man and a woman to reproduce, period.

“When the door is finally slammed shut on their political history, the Clinton’s will likely be a synonym for corruption, lies, scandal and murder.

We will show you ‘The difference it makes.’  It’s over for Hill and Bill, say no more.”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign releases rebuttal to stories about her corruption and greed: “There isn’t a shred of evidence.”

That’s true.
Not a shred.
A mountain.

A $140 million mountain that landed at the Clinton Foundation, courtesy of Vladimir Putin, who may have also sent a bouquet of roses with the money transfers.

Team Hill adds: “It’s a RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY financed by the Koch Brothers!”

Sure it is.

Questions keep arising about the largest deposit-only ATM machine in the world: The Clinton Foundation.

Just as the Clinton Foundation is refiling its taxes for the last five years, we hear that Hillary Clinton expects to raise an unheard record $2.5 billion for her presidential run. With these new stories hitting the headlines daily, the left is circling the wagons around Hillary. What you’ll read next is about the woman the progressive left presents to the American people as its viable presidential candidate, the person that represents the political left’s values.

Several sources reveal allegations about the Clintons self-enriching through the sale of political favors at the expense of America’s national security. These recall earlier stories now confirmed: the Clintons selling of missile secrets to the Chinese. Behind these curtain calls are other chapters that raise the curtain to reveal how the largest North American uranium refiners’ executives “charitably” and brazenly funneled money to the Clintons and their cohorts.

This group of American and Canadian investors and executives first built, and then sold off to (whom Mitt Romney correctly identified during the presidential debates, America’s primary nuclear-armed enemy), the Russians, the largest and most productive North American uranium mining enterprise.

Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation as Russians Pressed for Control of Uranium Company

‘Remember lessons we taught Hitler’: Top 10 quotes from Putin’s State of Nation address

In his yearly address to parliamentarians and dignitaries, Vladimir Putin gave a reminder of Russia’s strength as the country that Hitler failed to defeat, while also comparing Crimea’s significance to that of the Temple Mount to Jews and Islam.

In a warning to the West about further encroachment towards Russia’s borders, President Putin reminded how many previous military powers have tried, but ultimately failed, to corner Russia and then invade the largest country on Earth.

In the 1990s a weak Russia under Boris Yeltsin looked helplessly on as the US and the EU carved up Yugoslavia for their own personal gains. Almost two decades on, Putin says a repeat on Russian soil, despite the West’s desires, is unthinkable.

“They would have gladly applied the Yugoslav scenario of dismemberment and disintegration for Russia. They failed. We did not allow them to do that.”

Russia has one of the largest armies in the world; however, Putin is adamant he does not want the country to be drawn into a wider conflict. The president did admit that if forced, the Russian bear is prepared to bare its claws with devastating consequences for those opposing it.

For centuries Crimea was part of Russia. The peninsula is ethnically Russian, not just Russian-speaking. However, in 1954 it was ‘transferred’ to Ukraine by Nikita Khrushchev, who believed national boundaries were irrelevant given that they all came under the banner of the Soviet Union. However, following the collapse of the USSR, the Crimean question surfaced once again.

The US and the EU have tried to play-up the effect sanctions imposed on Russia are having a detrimental effect on the country’s economy, when in fact the low price of oil is the real reason for the ruble’s slide. Putin says Russia is looking for new partners in the east for trade and believes the West’s aim to hurt Russia’s economy will be detrimental in the long run.

A resurgent Russia is a threat to the US, with Washington unwilling to let any nation challenge it as the world’s only super power. For almost a decade, the US has been looking at ways to diminish Russia’s role in world affairs both globally and politically. Putin was adamant that Crimea was just the excuse Obama was looking for to slap Moscow on the wrist.

The Russian Finance Ministry estimates that $130 billion will leave Russia by the end of 2014 due to heightened geopolitical tensions and the mass sell-off the ruble throughout the year. However, now Putin’s going to try and keep Russian money in Russia.

Vladimir Putin is adamant Russia will not be backed into a corner following the economic sanctions introduced by the US and the EU. On many occasions the Russian president has said that Moscow wants good relations with all countries, including the ones that are set on hindering its economic growth.

Since the break-up of the Soviet Union, the US’s tentacles, often under the pretext of NATO have encroached closer and closer to Russia’s borders and meddling in the affairs of foreign countries.

“Our US friends, whether directly or from behind the scenes always affect our relations with our neighbors. Sometimes it’s unclear whether to talk to the authorities of the country, or to their US patrons.”

Vladimir Putin said that countries are losing sight of their own national interests to suit the foreign policy of other countries. However, he said such a thing would not be happening in Russia.

“If for many European countries, sovereignty and national pride are forgotten concepts and a luxury, then for Russia, true sovereignty is an absolutely necessary condition of our existence.”
