Hackers connected with terror militant group ISIS have leaked information that could put over 1,500 military personnel and government staff members at risk.

According to these hackers, ISIS has released a list of personal information, including photographs, addresses and even the credit card information of Army, Navy, and State Department figures,” reports CBS News.

ISIS urged attacks to be carried out based on this information.

The claim could not be authenticated nor the accuracy of the leaked information, according to a global security firm and there is no way of telling how old the information is.

“The data was published on a website and advertised on social media by the self-proclaimed ‘Islamic State Hacking Division,’ supposedly a group of hackers working for the radical Islamist group,” stated RT.

“It includes a spreadsheet with names, emails, passwords and contact information of some 1,500 people. There are also alleged bank card numbers and screenshots of what appear to be private Facebook conversations between serving US military personnel discussing operations.”

There is some doubt over the validity of this latest list of personal information because it includes, according to the Register, disconnected phone numbers and “The emails listed include a worker in an Israeli magistrates’ court, someone in a college in Mississippi, a person in the Australian National Audit Office, and a UK council worker,” reports RT.

Even if the information provided is deemed garbage, eventually ISIS will get it right. Perhaps an understatement, military personnel and their families have reason for alarm. This is not the first incident of military personnel’s information being stolen and then made public.

In March of this year, personal information was leaked by the Islamic State Hacking Division of 100 military members saying their posting of it on social media was “so that our brothers in America can deal with you,” reports CBS. Those words are enough to drive shivers down the spine of most Non-Muslim Americans.

A spokesperson for the Department of Defense stated in an email, “We are aware of the report but cannot confirm credibility at this time. The safety of our service members is always a primary concern.”

Of course, the military and their families are not the only ones on the hit list. Several U.S. State Department Official’s credit card information has also been thrown in the mix and they have reason for concern as well.

The fear of lone-wolf attacks could be rising as officials admit ISIS has advanced digitally and have been using different social media outlets to recruit new members to their vicious crusade and to spread propaganda throughout the world.

Military personnel have been advised by United States Central Command to treat all threats as real and to “maintain a heightened sense of vigilance.” They emphasize the warning that the ISIS ‘hit list’ should be treated as a cyber threat, that we are “operating in a new norm in which cyber threats are real’ threats.

40,000 American Army Troops Cut – What Does That Mean For Them, America, And YOU?

Marines-Public-Domain-520x245July 8, 2015

By Lorra B.

We live in a country consumed with fears of potential war and the never-ending threat of ISIS on our own soil. Yet, the U.S. Army is looking to shed 40,000 soldiers from its ranks over the next two years, leaving many citizens and troops concerned that we will not only be ill equipped to fight wars effectively but that our troops moral may sink to all-new lows.

Diminishing resources have been blamed as a contributing factor in cutting active military down to 450,000 troops from 490.000 by the end of 2017. The upcoming cuts have military personnel not only anxious but also changing how they view the military.

$287 million was spent on programs with one goal in mind, improving the morale of the U.S. military. It seems the money spent boosting the soldiers moral may have been better spent finding ways to keep soldiers employed. According to USA Today, 52% of American troops “across all branches remain pessimistic about their future in the military.” What is even more interesting is that declining moral seems to be caused by financial stresses, both in pay grade and longevity of career.

According to a 2014 Military Times study “In 2009, 87 percent of active-duty troops who participated in Military Time’s survey rated their pay and allowances ‘good’ or ‘excellent. This year the figure was just 44 percent.”

Our military has gotten the smallest pay hike in 41 years at just 1%.

Now, adding to their already low moral, troops also worry about the longevity of their service, and with good cause. The Budget cuts being announced are cuts to the Army but many other military branches are worried as well.

“Thirty years ago, if you were a good airman and worked hard, you could serve for 20 years,” stated Air Force Chief Master Sergeant James Cody. “I’m not sure you can say the same today. [The budget] is curtailing the ability to serve.”

imageedit_15_4387731615The budget planners at the Pentagon have grieved over the budget restraints saying they are “dangerous to national security, but over the last three years Congress has not found any realistic compromise to replace or dismiss the spending caps.”

The anxieties the budget cuts are creating in the ranks are surmountable. Military members have expressed concerns about career options, their pay and what it will mean for their readiness to fight. Army Sergeant Major Dan Daily stated, “We may have to tell good soldiers to go home.”

Our soldiers “should not have to deal with thinking about if they’re going to have enough resources to go ahead and do our mission,” stated Marine Corps Major Ronald Green.

Soldiers have tremendous burdens just trying to make the resources they have work for them in and off the field. The fear of being ‘laid off’ shouldn’t be another one of those burdens. Yet, it is, and for good reason. 40,000 of their jobs will be cut along with 17,000 civilian Army workers.

What does this all mean for the Untied States and her ability to fight a war and what does it mean to you?

These budget cuts, which will naturally bring about moral issues for our troops, were announced right after President Obama stated that the US would be stepping up its campaign in Syria and adding that it would be a long battle indeed! Yet, 40,000 troops will be cut.

This doesn’t make sense to me and it didn’t make sense to Alaskan Republican Senator Dan Sullivan either and he stated as much. There are valid concerns of Russian hostility in the Arctic and military assets are shifting to the Asia-Pacific. Budget cuts downsizing forces in Alaska “make no strategic sense,” said Sullivan.

If this war is going to be a long one, and most agree it will, why would cuts be made to our troops in the first place? You know, the ones actually protecting America.

Defense cuts are sparking real doubts with both our citizens and our troops. With moral on a seemingly ever-downward spin of late and upcoming military personnel ‘lay-offs’ many ponder whether America will be in a position to defend itself against war, and rightfully so.

According to the Heritage Foundation the US military, under the Obama Administration, is now only ‘marginally able’ to defend her because of how depleted the military has become. We have the lowest troop levels since World War II.

Cutting 40,000 troops to already depleted ranks is an error during time of war, and make no mistake, we are in a time of war. This cut is wrong for America and it is wrong for her citizens who should not have to live in fear whether they will be protected from outside, or inside threats.

BREAKING – Watch as Obama Declares We Can Defeat ISIS With “Better Ideas.” WOW…Really Obama?

dJuly 6, 2015

I think my friend over at Cry and Howl got this one right. If you haven’t checked out his site yet, you should!

Cry and Howl: WOW! Obama actually thinks he can out-smart ISIS. This is one sick s.o.b. ISIS is beheading by the hundreds, burning, raping, forcing children to execute hundreds of people, pillaging, moving across the Middle East and Obama thinks that “better ideas” will win the day? As long as Barack is president we won’t be at war with Islam … but Islam will always be at war with us and getting them jobs and “better ideas” ain’t gonna change their minds. Death, destruction, fear, rape, maiming, intimidation and every ungodly thing you can think of is Islam.

Yet, here’s Barack Obama, the “commander-in-chief” telling us how to defeat ISIS …

Via: Real Clear Politics

“We’ll constantly reaffirm through words and deeds that we will never be at war with Islam,” President Obama said Monday afternoon. “We are fighting terrorists who distort islam and its victims are mostly Muslims.”

“This challenge of countering violent extremism is not simply a military effort,” the president said. “Ideologies are not defeated with guns but better ideas and more attracting and more compelling vision.”

Well damn Barack, maybe you could have a sit-down with some of the ISIS folks and discuss this stuff. I’m sure they’ll see you’re so smart that they’ll give up all the crap they’ve been doing and apply for jobs. I’ll bet you can find places for them at the DHS, IRS, FDA, CIA, FBI … I’m sure they’ll be vital to the security of America.

For sure we confirm that we are not at war with Islam with deeds.

ISIS is Obama’s army and there isn’t anyway he will facilitate their demise.

Obama Blocks Plan To Fight ISIS: US Block Attempts By Arab Allies To Fly Heavy Weapons Directly To Kurds To Fight Islamic State

dJuly 2,2015

We The People:Could it be anymore clear whose side Obama and his lap dog David Cameron are on when dealing with the Islamic Terrorists of the Islamic State.

It’s one thing to have already shown their colors by not supporting the Kurds who have been our allies, while now standing in the way of support by the Saudi’s to help them.

Apparently RINO’s in the U.S. Senate have not gone along with supporting the involvement of U.S. helps as well.

Who’s side are these people on and why do we keep electing them?”

**Middle East allies accuse Barack Obama and David Cameron of failing to show strategic leadership in fight against Isil, as MPs could be given vote on whether to bomb Syria**

The United States has blocked attempts by its Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islamic State jihadists in Iraq, The Telegraph has learned.

Some of America’s closest allies say President Barack Obama and other Western leaders, including David Cameron, are failing to show strategic leadership over the world’s gravest security crisis for decades.

They now say they are willing to “go it alone” in supplying heavy weapons to the Kurds, even if means defying the Iraqi authorities and their American backers, who demand all weapons be channeled through Baghdad.

High level officials from Gulf and other states have told this newspaper that all attempts to persuade Mr Obama of the need to arm the Kurds directly as part of more vigorous plans to take on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) have failed. The Senate voted down one attempt by supporters of the Kurdish cause last month.

The officials say they are looking at new ways to take the fight to Isil without seeking US approval.

“If the Americans and the West are not prepared to do anything serious about defeating Isil, then we will have to find new ways of dealing with the threat,” said a senior Arab government official. “With Isil making ground all the time we simply cannot afford to wait for Washington to wake up to the enormity of the threat we face.”

The Peshmerga have been successfully fighting Isil, driving them back from the gates of Erbil and, with the support of Kurds from neighbouring Syria, re-establishing control over parts of Iraq’s north-west.

But they are doing so with a makeshift armory. Millions of pounds-worth of weapons have been bought by a number of European countries to arm the Kurds, but American commanders, who are overseeing all military operations against Isil, are blocking the arms transfers.

One of the core complaints of the Kurds is that the Iraqi army has abandoned so many weapons in the face of Isil attack, the Peshmerga are fighting modern American weaponry with out-of-date Soviet equipment.

At least one Arab state is understood to be considering arming the Peshmerga directly, despite US opposition.

The US has also infuriated its allies, particularly Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the Gulf states, by what they perceive to be a lack of clear purpose and vacillation in how they conduct the bombing campaign. Other members of the coalition say they have identified clear Isil targets but then been blocked by US veto from firing at them.

“There is simply no strategic approach,” one senior Gulf official said. “There is a lack of coordination in selecting targets, and there is no overall plan for defeating Isil.”
